The Waffle Haus

The Waffle Haus is situated on the attractive and colourful Regent Street, but the project we were called in to complete was even wilder. An all-day eatery, The Waffle Haus boasts some incredible Belgium waffles and real fruit ice cream. To sell its creative flavours, from Oreo Cookie Crumble to Lemon Berry and the Bacon and Berry Banana Stack, we had to think outside the box.

Using a mint tulip colour base as the main theme of the store, we added a series of curved squiggles which lapped the room and over the pipes. We used a dark chestnut to compliment the mint tulip, giving the room the feel of an interesting ice cream flavour with chocolate syrup!

The end result is an amazing, whacky looking store which screams personality and fun. With their regular competitions, incredible menu and great location, it's no wonder The Waffle Haus is a go to location in Christchurch.
